Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a vital body of the institution established in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It acts as the driving force for ensuring quality enhancement and sustenance in all aspects of the college’s functioning.

Objectives of IQAC

To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the performance of the institution.
To ensure the effective implementation of quality benchmarks in academic and administrative activities.
To promote innovative teaching-learning practices, research, and extension activities.
To create a learner-centric environment conducive to holistic development.
To encourage faculty development programmes for knowledge enrichment and skill upgradation.

Functions of IQAC

Designing and implementing quality assurance strategies for teaching, learning, and evaluation.
Collection and analysis of feedback from stakeholders including students, parents, alumni, and employers.
Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC.
Facilitating the creation of a quality culture through workshops, seminars, and awareness programmes.
Monitoring the continuous internal evaluation system.
Documenting and disseminating best practices of the institution.
